Influencer Horst Pfister from Bavaria was at "The Perfect Dinner".
He failed miserably at the main course.
In an interview with our editorial team, he gives insights into the TV show.
Eichstätt – "Since I was 15, I've always watched the cooking show with my mom," says Horst Pfister.
"I then said: 'At some point, when I have a cool kitchen, I'll do it'".
In January of this year, Upper Bavaria's dream came true.
Horst and his husband Manuel run an Instagram channel (2.be.good.dads) on which they take their followers with them in their everyday life with their daughter.
With the help of surrogacy in the USA, they were able to fulfill their desire to have children last year.
Around 57,000 people follow the two online.
A perfect candidate for the influencer episode of the Vox show "The Perfect Dinner".
“The perfect dinner”: Horst messes up the main course on his vegan menu
"That went very quickly," says Horst in an interview with
Merkur.de
.
"I was asked at very short notice, it was then two weeks from the request to the broadcast date." Not exactly a lot of time to think about a three-course meal.
"Yes, that was exciting."
Horst laughs.
Since he eats 100 percent vegetarian and "89 percent vegan", he decided to conjure up a completely vegan menu.
The influencer had the following dishes on the menu under the motto “Fresh Autumn”:
Appetizer: Stuffed trio of stuffed vegetables
Main course: Ravioli con Pumpkin & Spinach
Dessert: chocolate meets rice
Horst only started cooking on day four of the week.
After the meal, the ratings of his fellow contestants were not so great.
Horst received only 29 points.
What was it?
"My pasta machine went on strike," explains the 31-year-old from Upper Bavaria.
“I then had to make the ravioli by hand.
I've never done it before, it didn't work either." That was the end of the menu.
"If the main course doesn't work, you've lost".

"The perfect dinner" on Vox: Horst gives insights into the influencer episode
Horst is enthusiastic about the week, even if he didn't do so well with his food.
It wasn't just the food that was sensational.
He describes the contact with the others as "super friendly" and he still has contact with everyone who took part.
In his opinion, the show is also “very authentic”.
What he didn't like so much were the moments when you had to give an assessment.
"Evaluation is always a bit stupid because you don't have a comparison at the beginning of the week." But that is also an advantage because the level increases during the week because the later ones have a comparison.
Horst would always take part in a TV show again – at least if the format suits him.
