For folk festival speaker Anton Frankl, this is almost an obligation to get something decent up and running in Freising this year.
"We want to offer the citizens a really nice folk festival with all the trimmings."

However, the price of the beer has not yet been determined
Months ago, contact was made with the showmen and the popular rides were sealed.

Nothing will change in the most important personal details: Ludwig Tauscher will be the innkeeper again.
However, he cannot yet name a fixed beer price because he does not yet know the conditions of the breweries.
However, according to Frankl, a moderate increase in the price of the Maß can be expected.
That is probably inevitable this year.
At the moment it is assumed that there will be a folk festival without any restrictions.
The traditional time - Friday, September 2nd to Sunday, September 11th - could be early enough to be able to hold the Freisinger Volksfest before a possible corona autumn wave, Mayor Tobias Eschenbacher and Anton Frankl hope in unison.
However, after two years of the pandemic, forecasts about the activity of the virus are no longer made.
Last year there was a slimmed down version
As a reminder: In 2020 the Freisinger Volksfest was canceled without replacement.
The plans for a so-called mini-Wiesn were on the brink in 2021.
Finally, a slimmed-down version with a beer garden and a few rides could take place in the Luitpold facility.
