The Al-Fida gin in Hama started supplying the first shipment of industrial seeds resulting from the cotton ginning operations, which are beloved for the current season, to the Homs Sugar Company for the production of cotton oil.
The director of the gin, Engineer Osama Kayyal, explained to SANA that the industrial seeds will be supplied to the public oil companies in Hama, Homs and Aleppo under prior approvals from the General Organization for Cotton Ginning and Marketing, indicating that the supply operations will continue until the completion of the entire quantities produced this season, which amount to more than 1,000 tons of seeds. Provided that some of it is supplied to private oil companies, if necessary.
Kayal pointed out that about 500 tons of ginned cotton bales were supplied during the last period to the Coast Spinning Company in Jableh, and 291 tons of agricultural seeds were supplied to the two branches of seed multiplication in the governorates of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, pointing to the start of comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation operations for ginning machines in preparation for work during the next season. .
It is noteworthy that the Al-Fida gin received during the current season 2,344 tons of the beloved cotton from the farmers of the Raqqa and Deir Ezzor governorates, which were completely ginned.
