Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malki reiterated his condemnation of the escalating violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Wafa Agency, al-Maliki indicated during his meeting today with his Dutch counterpart Wobke Hoekstra that hardly a single day passes without the occupation authorities committing a new crime to be added to their series of ongoing crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people, their land, property and sanctities.

Al-Maliki warned against the escalation of the occupation’s settlement plans, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, and what it is also doing in the Masafer Yatta area in the West Bank of demolishing Palestinian homes and displacing them from their land in order to expand settlement operations in flagrant violation of Security Council Resolution No. 2334, which undermines the chances of reaching any settlement that leads to a settlement. Establishing a Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 line, with Jerusalem as its capital.

Regarding the crime of the occupation by targeting and assassinating journalist Shireen Abu Aqila in cold blood, Al-Maliki stressed that this crime is an extension of the continuous series of field executions of the occupation to silence the voice of truth and cover up its crimes against the Palestinian people, calling on the international community to stop the policy of double standards and put an end to the impunity of the Israeli occupation.

In addition, Palestine Judge Mahmoud al-Habbash denounced the calls made by settler groups to storm the Dome of the Rock in Al-Aqsa Mosque at the end of this month and demolish it, describing it as a declaration of war against the Islamic world and a flagrant violation of international law.

Al-Habbash called on the international community to curb the occupation and its settlers, warning that the settlers' calls to demolish the Dome of the Rock will ignite the region and the world with the fire of war, which no power in the world can control its repercussions if it erupts.
