Once again, the project to transform the Paris ring road into an urban boulevard is back in the debates.
This angry subject, and which is rejected by many users, was however addressed this Tuesday in the greatest harmony by the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.
After having been the unsuccessful presidential candidate, the socialist mayor, who is taking over this dossier, does so gently, dismissing the disputes it arouses.
Around her for this press conference, are present several mayors of cities which adjoin the ring road and who are committed to her project.
For this umpteenth presentation of the future ring road, which will be completed in 2030, sensitive points have been passed over in silence.
Like the speed which must go from 70 to 50 km/h.
Or even users of soft mobility, such as cyclists and pedestrians, who will be able to coexist with cars.
