The investigation revealed that the 38-year-old "took over" a section of the separation fence near his house and placed gates in it.

Thus, anyone who was interested in entering through them was required to pay him a passage fee, including pedestrians and cars.

According to the suspicion, the smuggling activity took place through the separation fence that was breached into the territory of the State of Israel in the Umm al-Fahm (Israel) area of ​​Khirbet a Taibeh (territories).

It also appears that in exchange for payment and systematically, illegal occupants, stolen vehicles, weapons and weapons that the suspect remotely operated for the purpose were passed on to a number of other suspects, including residents of the territories whose job it was to collect money from people who wanted to pass through the fence.

In addition, he used them to make observations of IDF and police forces operating in the area so that they would not thwart the activity, all for a fee ranging from tens to hundreds of shekels for each transfer of people, vehicles and goods. During the month of April, the detectives of the Coast Guard arrested three residents of Umm al-Fahm on suspicion of their involvement in the affair on the Israeli side of the perimeter fence.

At the request of the police, the detention of the suspects was extended in the military court in Samaria and in the Magistrate's Court in Acre.

Yesterday, the prosecution filed an indictment in the Haifa District Court against a resident of Umm al-Fahm.

In the indictment, he is charged with weapons offenses, aiding and abetting illegal stay in Israel, and Helena illegally.
