At about 4 pm today (18th), the police received a report from a resident that someone fell from the building in the new city center at No. 8 San Shing Street, Shau Kei Wan.
Sources at the scene indicated that two women fell from the building. The two were wearing school uniforms and were suspected to be female students. They were believed to have fallen from a height and were lying on the platform of the building.
Paramedics arrived at the scene, but unfortunately found the two dead at the scene.
Police cordoned off the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
[17:05] Several police officers boarded the roof of the building to investigate. According to the on-site information, it was initially suspected that the two fell from the roof and lay on the platform.
The bodies of the two deceased were sheltered in tents.
