Still crying when you cut an onion?

Well we have for you a trick that is really a real game ginger that will keep you from crying more.

Sheila from Australia shared on her Facebook page a tip that changed her life - wet tissue paper.

"If you want not to cry while you are cutting onions then I have a really simple solution for you, place wet cut tissue paper next to your cut onion" Sheila wrote.

Many surfers responded to the post and asked her what was the reason for this and she explained that "the volatile substance in onions (this is a chemical called syn-Propathanethial S-oxide AG) contains a substance that is attracted to a source with water to attach to it. Usually the closest source is your eyes. "If you put something wet next to the onion, most of the steam will be attracted to the water in the paper and will not reach your eyes, so you will never cry again when cutting an onion," she wrote.
