Innovative art as temporary use in the disused Gerstmayer nursery - Real Experience New Art. Short.
RENA.
Markt Schwaben – Elena Tengelmann, Natalie Ecker and Rebecca Winhart want to focus on experiencing and creating new, innovative art.
The first project for sustainable interim use is located in the disused “Gerstmayer” nursery in Markt Schwaben.
The opening event is on Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 May from 1pm to 9pm.
The newly revitalized area presents a variety of art and installations by 15 different artists in a residential building with seven exhibition rooms and an adjacent greenhouse.
Every artist not only brings their own character, but above all their individual style, so that there is something for everyone interested in art.
The site also offers numerous outdoor areas for street art design, the process of complete painting has already begun and more exciting facade projects will follow in the coming months.
The center of the creative exchange takes place in the vaulted, former sales room of the nursery.
The space for encounters of all kinds has been brought back to life - it is a nostalgic reminder of the more cautious, more conscious events of that time, which must have taken place between seller and buyer.
RENA believes in the cultural, community potential of art and aims to encourage the creation of an expanded awareness of art purchases.
If you don't want to buy an original work right away, you may be able to bring a piece of art into your own four walls by purchasing a print of the original work or other special objects.
RENA exhibition, May 28th and 29th from 1pm to 9pm, Erdinger Str. 24 in Markt Schwaben in the former Gerstmayer nursery.
