EHC Klostersee continues to rely on champion keeper Hähl.
The team will start dry training this week
Grafing – After those responsible at EHC Klostersee decided to play in the Oberliga Süd next season, the planning for the composition of the squad is already underway.
The squad will largely stay together and want to prove themselves in a league higher, the grown team structure is an important part of the concept, President Sascha Kaefer recently explained.
At the weekend, the Grafingers were able to announce a key personality that fits this announcement.
With Philipp Hähl, the red-whites will remain the master keeper for the 2022/23 season.
The puck catcher, who switched to EHC from Bayernliga competitor EC Pfaffenhofen Eishogs a year ago, is still number one in coach Dominik Quinlan's team.
“In Philipp, we clearly provided the best goalkeeper in the Bayernliga last season.
Now we're going into the premier league and with him we'll have very stable support there too," the EHC head coach is certain.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper, who comes from the Ingolstadt youth team, had already gained some third-division experience in the ranks of EV Regensburg.
While the team planning continues at full speed, the Klosterseer are already starting with the preparations.
Eckhart Acker will lead the summer training, which takes place twice a week.
The younger brother of the former EHC captain Gert Acker, who played in the Grafing youth team and also as a defender in the Oberliga team between 2004 and 2006, was an athletics trainer at the DEL club Nürnberg Ice Tigers for six years (2014 to 2020).
“Ecki is an absolute expert.
We can't position ourselves more professionally in this area," says head coach Quinlan.
