EU: 300 billion for independence from Russian energy

The European Union will probably have to invest several hundred billion euros for fossil independence from Russia.
Brussels – According to the EU Commission, the European Union must invest up to 300 billion euros by 2030 in order to become independent of Russian energy.
Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday (18 May) presented a plan to move away from fossil fuels from Russia and accelerate the energy transition.
