The students of the yeshivot who belong to the Slonim Chassidut will not participate this year in the celebration of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai that will take place on Lag B'Omer in Meron, following the order of the Rebbe of Slonim.
According to the publication, the order came out because the authorities did not approve access to the Hasidic buses to the Mehadrin Derech area on Mount Meron, following which the Rebbe instructed the boys not to come to Meron
so as not to fail in forbidden sights.
This coming Sunday, which will be within three days of the hymn, and according to the books of Hasidism, arrival in Meron within three days of the hymn - is considered a participation in the hymn
.
Many rabbis and rebbe have this year called on their students not to come to Meron on Lag B'Omer, and many lighting classes will be held at Hasidic centers around the country and not at Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai's Zion.
