Since the start of the year, France has imported a record volume of 136 terawatt hours of LNG.

This represents almost a third of its annual consumption, landed in just four months.

But it re-exported over the same period the equivalent of 40% of this volume, or 54 terawatt hours, to Benelux and Switzerland, themselves gas transit countries to Germany.
