The artists' group "Kunststoff" will open its studios and workshops for the 10th time this coming weekend.

In Poing, Markt Schwaben and Parsdorf.

North of the district – The twelve members of the “Plastics” group and their three guests are celebrating an anniversary: for the tenth time they are opening the joint studios and workshops in Markt Schwaben, Parsdorf and Poing at the weekend.

They present themselves there and in the Anzing town hall together with their respective works and look forward to lively discussions with visitors about the pictures, photos, graphics or sculptures on display.

Poing: Four artists in the studio at Osterfeld

“Have we grown old in these ten years of plastic?” asks Maria Heller from Markt Schwaben.

She is also looking for an answer as to whether art these days can contribute to alleviating human suffering elsewhere.

For example, she modeled groups of people fleeing "to understand the current situation a little".

Your guest Bjarne Geiges from Munich responds to your three-dimensional impressions with his photographs as an expression of encounter.

Location: Markgrafenweg 33 in Markt Schwaben.

Despite the post-pandemic and the turmoil of war, the four women from the studio at Osterfeld (Kampenwandstraße 1) in Poing-Süd also want to convey good feelings.

The very different pictures by Conny Boy, Conni Propstmeier, Rosi Hingerl and Inge Schmidt are based on themes such as nature, strong colors and landscapes.

Schmidt even dedicated himself to a sculpture from the world of fables, the Barberin faun.

They will be joined for the first time by wood artist Stefan Pillokat from Markt Schwaben, also known as Clown Pippo.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.

In the meeting room of the town hall of Anzing (Schulstraße 1), where the municipal council usually meets, four men are exhibiting: Peter Böhm is planning a so-called "show", Siegfried Horst lots of colored things on canvas and ceramics, Norbert Haberkorn from Poing his thoughts on graffiti "1984" as a perpetual accompanying motif of countless S-Bahn journeys, and Johannes Mayrhofer sees the "shadow of the cow" as an impulse for graphic experiments - visitors can expect surprises of all kinds.

Exhibitions in Parsdorf and Markt Schwaben

Ulrike Pfeiffer's studio (Hartholzweg 14) has long since established itself in Parsdorf, this time she also offers guests artistic shelter here.

Because Claudia Sack and Christine Rath like to join the artist group Kunststoff, and they have exciting themes with them in unusual implementations.

Finally, Ottilie Gaigl and Günter Zozmann in the Atelier Graga in Markt Schwaben (Geltinger Strasse 65) have decided to “separate themselves from vanity and look for the essential”, however they artistically implement it.

All studios are open on Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

The exhibition can also be seen in the town hall there on Monday, May 23, especially for the primary school children in Anzing.
