According to the Palestinian newspaper Al-Ayyam, the terrorist organization expects answers from Al-Maadi regarding raising the monthly aid amount to $ 30 million.

Palestinian media report that the Qatari representative, Muhammad al-Amadi, is expected to arrive in the Gaza Strip today (Wednesday) to discuss various issues, including Hamas' demand to reorganize the amount of the monthly Qatari grant allocated to the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian newspaper Al-Ayyam reported that since the beginning of the year, the monthly grant transferred to the Gaza Strip was only $ 24 million, not $ 30 million as reported.

$ 10 million of the grant was allocated to the main power plant in Gaza that produces energy and electricity, an additional $ 10 million to needy families and $ 4 million in salaries to officials in Gaza who do not receive salaries from the Palestinian Authority.

According to a source who spoke with the newspaper, Hamas is expecting answers from Al-Imadi regarding raising the monthly aid amount to $ 30 million.

These demands were raised in high-level contacts, including in talks between Hamas leader Ismail Haniya and Amir Qatar.
