The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, insisted on Tuesday that all Latin American countries be invited to the Summit of the Americas, which will take place from June 6 to 10 in Los Angeles, California.
The president reiterated his position when referring to the meeting that he will hold on Wednesday at the National Palace with Christopher Dodd, special adviser for the Summit of President Joe Biden.
López Obrador acknowledged that Washington has not yet given a negative (or final) response to his request.
