The pianist Nour Kwifati was able to take the audience to different times through the paths of her fingers on the piano, which she used in her spirit to present a synthesis of musical pieces between romantic, classical and contemporary through a concert hosted by the Drama Theater at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
The ceremony began with the playing of quivati three pieces by the German composer of the romantic era Johannes Brahms called Intermitzo, which are small dramatic pieces that the composer put together in one work of three movements...slow and moderate..more expressive..more flowing in feelings.
Then she escorted the audience to a journey of romance with its Polish king, Frederic Chopin, and then to the world of the dream through a piece called Liliat. Koivati brought the evening's audience back to the classical era through the piece of the Austrian author Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through a beautiful interaction between her and the melody.
Koivati turned to contemporary music by playing a piece by Aram Khachaturian and the dance of the Egyptian girl from the Spartacus Ballet, to conclude the ceremony with two pieces entitled The Gloomy Princess and Always by the author known as the Azeri Jazz Princess Aziza Mustafa.
It is noteworthy that Nour Kwifati, born in Aleppo in 1988, studied at the Arab Institute of Arabic Music in Aleppo and learned to play in several musical institutes. She had many participations with her late mother, the great Mayada Basilis, and with the Syrian Philharmonic Orchestra.
