The municipality of Lenggries starts an online survey to get better information about the leisure needs and wishes of young people.

Lenggries –

In the November meeting, the Lenggries municipal council actually just wanted to find out what skate parks are in the area and what they cost.

However, the debate about it somehow frayed (we reported) - also because it was unclear whether it was about a skate park, a multifunctional place or a general meeting place for young people.

In order to find out what the young people of Lenggries actually want, the municipality has launched a youth survey on the Internet.

The questionnaire has been online since last week – “until June 5,” explains Mayor Stefan Klaffenbacher.

The evaluation should then be available at one of the next municipal council meetings.

To ensure that as many children and young people as possible take part, “we wrote to all schools in advance and asked them to forward our request,” says the head of the town hall.

The responsible speakers Nadia Tretter and Sabine Gerg designed the basic framework for the survey.

"We then did the elaboration together," says Klaffenbacher.

In order for the result to be reasonably meaningful, the program is set up in such a way that everyone can only take part in the survey once.

Mayor Klaffenbacher hopes for active participation

First you have to assign yourself to an age group and state whether you live in Lenggries or in one of the surrounding communities.

Then it comes down to which elements a multifunctional sports facility should definitely offer.

A maximum of five answers can be clicked on - from the fixed pump track for skaters, bikers and scooters to the trampoline that is level with the ground.

If you cannot find what you are looking for in the list, you can add your own suggestions.

The municipality also wants to know what the young people want when it comes to the trappings.

Here you can choose, for example, benches, a kiosk or supervised offers.

The young people should also state how often they would use such a system or whether they would actively help with the implementation and maintenance.

The community would also like to know whether you are already a member of a local association – and if so, in which area.

Finally, a few lines remain to add your own thoughts, if you wish.

However, this last comment is not a mandatory field.

Mayor Klaffenbacher hopes for active participation in the survey.

"We need a basis on which we can then continue to discuss."
