The Directorate of Parks in the Homs City Council has started the work of mowing the lawns and pruning trees in several parks in the city.
Engineer Walid Attia, the director of the parks, said in a statement to SANA reporter that weeds were cut, trees were pruned, plowed and razed straight from Hama Road from Mahmoud al-Akhras roundabout to Mills roundabout, in addition to mowing the meadow in Saeb al-Azem Park.
Attia indicated that tree trunks were coated with lime on Ibn Jubayr Street and in the middle of Ghouta Street, and the razing of the middle of Damascus Road began from the 8 March roundabout towards Palmyra roundabout and removing weeds from it.
