BRUSSELS, MAY 18 - Germany, Holland, Belgium and Denmark have signed an alliance to make the North Sea the largest sustainable energy center in Europe.
The agreement was signed at the summit of the Danish city of Esbjerg which was attended by the heads of government of the four countries and the president of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
The agreement includes the objective of quadrupling the total offshore wind capacity of the 4 countries by 2030 and tenfolding it by 2050.
