Miesbach - Hausham is building a pump track in Haidmühl and Miesbach is building a skater park on the B472 bridge near Mühlstatt.
Only the finances have to be clarified.
There is broad approval for a skater park in the Miesbach city council.
The councils do not want to save for this, despite empty city coffers and sharply increasing debt.
A high-quality system is to be created, even if this is significantly more expensive at around 200,000 euros than a variant with mobile elements.
It is to be built under the federal road bridge on the road to Mühlstatt.
Miesbach is aiming for an inter-municipal project with the neighboring municipality of Hausham, which in turn is planning a pump track in Haidmühl.
There could be 50 percent funding.
Under the B472 bridge in Miesbach
Miesbach has been looking for locations for youth leisure centers for a long time.
The first success: The basketball court at the middle school was opened to the public.
A skater park is also planned.
The city had been in talks with the federal government for a long time about the property under the bridge.
Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller reported at the most recent meeting of the city council that the Rosenheim State Building Authority has a contract for use.
Manfred Burger (Greens) thinks that the most important hurdle has been cleared with the property.
Now it's about "how we finance it," he said.
Build a massive concrete plant
50,000 euros have been budgeted for in the city budget, but this would only suffice for mobile elements such as ramps.
Added to this is the civil engineering work.
Markus Seemüller (FWG) doesn't think much of such a system: "Let's do it cleverly, then we'll have skaters there and no broken glass."
Smart means a massive concrete plant that costs about 200,000 euros.
"It is more durable and also absorbs the sound better," explained Christian Mittermaier (CSU).
"I'm fully behind it," stressed Braunmiller.
He would like to develop the project together with the young people.

The local skateboarding club also wants to help.
"If we only do it half-share, nobody likes it again," said Florian Hupfauer (FDP) for the massive variant and promised a donation of 100 euros.

The Miesbach city councilors are hoping for 100,000 euros from the Leader program, because the system is to be implemented as part of an inter-municipal project with Hausham.
Both the skater park and the pump track are to be built on the town limits, are in the immediate vicinity and could be used by young people from both Miesbach and Hausham.
