A novice driver got into the oncoming lane near Neustadt (Bavaria).
He crashed into the car of two women - both died.
The 18-year-old is in mortal danger.
Neustadt/Aisch – A serious accident occurred in Middle Franconia on Tuesday (May 17).
There were two fatalities.

According to the police, an 18-year-old driver drove the B8 from Neustadt an der Aisch in the direction of Emskirchen.
For reasons that are still unclear, the novice driver came into the opposite lane.
He collided head-on with an oncoming car.
The two occupants of the oncoming car were trapped and had to be freed by the fire department.
The driver (55) succumbed to her serious injuries on the spot.
A 76-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to the police, she died there shortly afterwards.
The 18-year-old who caused the accident also suffered life-threatening injuries.
He is currently being treated at a nearby hospital.

The officers of the Neustadt an der Aisch police inspection recorded the accident.
An expert was called in to determine the cause of the accident.
"To deal with the accident, the volunteer fire brigades Neustadt ad Aisch and Diespeck, an emergency pastor, numerous rescue service workers and two rescue helicopters were deployed," it said.
As of 12:00 p.m., the B8 is closed in both directions.
