Real changes and becomes "my real".
In Bavaria, seven branches are affected by the realignment.
What are they and what happens there.
Düsseldorf/Frankfurt – The future of the Real branches, which are to remain after the Real break-up, is certain.
Real branches will remain at seven locations in Bavaria – but not as before.
Because the new owners around the Frankfurt financial investor Sven Tischendorf have announced major innovations for the Real markets, as reported by 24RHEIN.
Real becomes "my Real" - also with seven branches in Bavaria
A new name, a new logo and a new slogan - Real will change significantly on July 1, 2022.
Of the formerly around 270 Real branches, only 63 will remain nationwide and they will then hardly be recognizable.
Because Real becomes "my Real", i.e. changes the name.
This also applies to the seven remaining Real branches in Bavaria.
At the same time, the logo is changed.
The italic font with the blue Real logo is then passé.
A more modern red logo with the lettering "mein Real" then adorns the supermarkets.
Even the famous slogan “Once there.
Everything inside” disappears.
"mein Real" relies on the claim "Everything I like!".

Real: Some things should change in branches
But it doesn't stop with just changing the name and logo.
The branches should also change visually.
The new "real Service und Verwaltungs GmbH" plans to redesign the interior areas, among other things.
There should be more space.
The fruit and vegetable departments are to be placed in the entrance area.
The range of products in the branches is also to be expanded.
Real was able to secure a new supplier in Rewe back in April.
Real Breakup: What Does It Mean?
The hypermarket chain Real is broken up.
More than 200 of the 270 Real branches that once existed will disappear from the German market as a result of the breakup.
Many Real branches were finally closed, but many more were taken over by other supermarkets.
Above all, Kaufland, Edeka and Globus have secured locations here.
But that's not the end of Real.
Because in January 2022 it became known that the financial investor Sven Tischendorf and his family office had secured around 60 Real branches.
These will remain in place and will become "mein Real" markets on July 1, 2022.
"mein Real": Extensive investments planned for the next few years
In the future, "mein Real" will focus even more on the fresh food departments.
The areas for fruit, vegetables, sausage, meat, cheese, organic products and baked goods are also being expanded.
However, the basic mix with a large range of non-food products and groceries will remain the same.
The Real markets will also change externally.
The facades of the branches are also to be remodeled and modernized.
According to “mein Real”, “extensive investments in modernization” are planned for the next three years.
