Russia has extended the restrictions imposed on the use of aircraft at the southern and central airports of the country to the 25th of this month.
"Until May 25, restrictions on flights have been extended at 11 Russian airports in the cities of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelengzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista," the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency said in a statement today.
Russia has imposed restrictions on flights from a number of airports in the south of the country since the end of last February, coinciding with the launch of its special military operation in Ukraine.
