Serious accident: car hits two motorcyclists

Because a Geretsrieder (80) turned illegally, two motorcyclists were involved in an accident.
Both were injured, one seriously.
Münsing – A serious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday evening in the municipality of Münsing.
Two motorcyclists suffered serious injuries.
According to the police, the two motorcyclists were on Tuesday around 6:15 p.m. coming from the B11a motorway feeder road on state road 2370 in the direction of Eurasburg.
Shortly after the junction, an 80-year-old from Geretsrieder drove his VW from the right shoulder onto the road.
Despite the solid line, he wanted to turn around in order to drive in the direction of Wolfratshausen.
23-year-old has to be flown to the clinic after an accident
The two motorcyclists had no chance to avoid a collision.
One of the two, a 23-year-old from Munich, suffered such serious injuries that he had to be flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter.
The other, a 26-year-old from Gröbenzell, was slightly injured and taken to a nearby hospital by the ambulance service.
The 80-year-old Geretsrieder was unharmed.
The property damage caused by the accident is estimated at a total of 25,000 euros.
The road had to be closed for about an hour.
In addition to the police and rescue service, the Degerndorf volunteer fire brigade and the Wolfratshausen road maintenance department were also on duty.
