The Syrian Telecom Company announced the return of all telephone services that were cut off yesterday from some centers in As-Suwayda Governorate as a result of an attempt to steal the optical cable feeding it.
The company explained in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that the phone centers that services returned to after completing the necessary repair work by the technical workshops are Walgha, Mazraa, Al-Dur, Najran and Kafr Al-Lahf.
Yesterday, Syrian Telecom announced the interruption of telecommunication services for these centers and their exit from service as a result of an attempted theft of the optical cable in the west of the province.
The director of the company's branch in As-Suwayda, Engineer Hazem Al-Shoufi, said in a statement to SANA that the technical workshops completed this evening the process of repairing the damaged cables, after they started repairing them since yesterday evening until the communication services were restored to the five centers that went out of service as a result of the theft attempt, in addition to restoring the communication services. Cellular for Syriatel and MTN in the region.
