Dorina, the mother of baby Jasmine Vinta, who was strangled to death by a kindergarten assistant in Petah Tikva, has been finally deported from Israel.

Dorina was recently forced to leave Israel and return to Moldova after all her efforts with the Population and Immigration Authority to obtain a residence visa in Israel came to naught.

Vladimir, Jasmine's father, remains in Israel even though he does not have a residence visa.

A friend of Dorina's Israel Today ":" It is sad that after the tragedy she went through she was not allowed to stay in Israel. Her life was destroyed here in Israel and no one had the compassion to allow her to stay here. "

The tragedy occurred in May 2018 when Jasmine, a total of one year and two months old, suffocated in the "Masha and the Bear" kindergarten in Petah Tikva.

She was evacuated to the hospital while undergoing resuscitation attempts but was later pronounced dead.

Cameras of the garden showed the assistant, Ina Skibenko, covering little Jasmine with a blanket while preventing her from breathing for long minutes.

She even sat on it while fiddling with her cell phone thus preventing her from any attempt to breathe.

Skibenko was charged with killing Jasmine and in July 2019 she was sentenced by the Lod District Court to 17 years in prison.

Dorina said after the sentencing: "She was and will be a monster for me. I have no words to describe this woman. She is not a human being. She is alive. But animals also love their children. It is important that all people know what happened to our baby. I hope in my heart "That in the future it will never happen. I hope and pray for it. Children is everything."

After the trial ended, the Population and Immigration Authority decided not to continue Vladimir and Dorina's residence visa in Israel.

The visa has been extended several times since then due to media pressure, with the intervention of then-Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and even with the decision of the Jerusalem Court of Appeals.

The parents, who later separated, made sure to take part in anti-child demonstrations in kindergartens and nurseries all over the country.

They also made sure to attend the legal hearings of another assistant from the kindergarten, Yelena Strobinsky, who was sentenced to a year and a half in prison in the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court only three months ago.

"They came to Israel for a trip when she was pregnant," says Dorina's friend.

"During the trip, a medical problem was discovered in the pregnancy, which forbade her to fly. They stayed in the country and Jasmine was born here. They planned to return back to Moldova and then the terrible incident happened."

"She wanted to stay where her daughter died," her friend said.

"I do not understand how they did not allow her to do that. It is sad. Her ex-partner remains here. He is not ready to leave Israel, he wants to stay where his daughter was killed."

The Population and Immigration Authority responded: "These are spouses who went through the same process and submitted identical applications for status in Israel. After examining the applications, one by one, it was decided to reject them in light of all the circumstances and the two were asked to leave many months ago. It remains to stay here without a legally regulated visa. "
