But, as often with the Cherifian kingdom since the start of the health crisis, practical and concrete details are still lacking after the announcement, on May 17, 2022, that the PCR test is no longer compulsory on arrival for tourists. strangers.

A measure announced in the evening by the government, and welcomed by professionals.

The vagueness persists on several points nevertheless: is the vaccination pass still required or the health pass (with certificate of recovery for example) sufficient to visit the Kingdom;

the point of knowing whether minors must have a pass has not been recalled either.

(the French system is recognized locally) that the country demanded.

The measure takes immediate effect and therefore concerns all trips from May 18.

PCR or antigen test is no longer necessary

since mid-February to return to France, regardless of origin, if you have a vaccination pass.

Persons not vaccinated or vaccinated with the Sinopharm vaccine must produce the negative results of a PCR test less than 72 hours, an antigen test less than 48 hours or a certificate of recovery.

The

price of the tests

is capped in Morocco: around €19 for the rapid antigen test, €40 for the RT-PCR test and €60 for the PCR test and its isothermal variants (rapid tests).

Many centers are available and tests can also be carried out in hotels or places of residence.
