In the trial against a 34-year-old woman who is said to have joined the Islamic State terrorist militia, the federal prosecutor's office has demanded four and a half years in prison.
Celle - The federal prosecutor's office considered it particularly serious that she took her little daughter with her and took her away from her father, a spokesman for the Celle Higher Regional Court said on Wednesday.
The Germans are also accused of having participated in the enslavement of the Yazidi population.
In the household of a slave trader in 2016, she is said to have exploited a Jesidin enslaved by the terrorist militia in the Syrian city of Raqqa for a few days.
Their lawyer did not make their own application.
However, the representative of the secondary prosecutor emphasized in his plea that the 34-year-old was aware of the injustice committed against the Jesidin.
The federal prosecutor brought charges against the 34-year-old at the end of 2021.
Accordingly, she traveled to Syria at the end of 2014 together with a 16-year-old woman, whom she is said to have recruited.
Specifically, the woman is accused of, among other things, membership in a terrorist organization, a crime against humanity and the confiscation of vulnerable minors.
On the first day of the hearing, she denied, among other things, that she had recruited other women for the terrorist militia in Germany.
According to her own statements, she was also not a radicalized Islamist.

The verdict could then be spoken on June 1st.
