– During a walk together in Grasbrunn, a trick thief stole her wristwatch from an 80-year-old.

The unknown thief and his accomplice approached the woman on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. in a café on Gartenstrasse and persuaded her to go for a walk.

But then only one of the two con artists took part, the other left.

According to the police, during the walk the man showed great interest in the lady's watch, who then took it off her wrist and handed it to the suspect for inspection.

When the man was holding the watch, the second suspect came back in a car.

The man with the watch got into the vehicle and both fled in an unknown direction.

An immediately initiated search for the suspects and their car (Augsburg license plate) was unsuccessful.

The stolen watch is worth several thousand euros.

The investigation has taken over the department 65 (trick theft).

The 80-year-old described the perpetrators as follows:

Perpetrator 1:

male, 180 cm tall, around 25 years old, slim, spoke standard German, short straight hair, narrow eyes, neither glasses nor a beard;

dressed in white work trousers and a white t-shirt with a company logo on the chest.

Perpetrator 2:

male, 170 cm tall, around 25 years old, fat, spoke standard German, short hair, shaved, blue eyes, no glasses or beard;

dressed in white work trousers and a white t-shirt with a company logo on the chest.
