Two defendants climbed out of window during police search
According to the case, Zheng Jin and Deng were stopped by the police when they entered the lobby of the building at about 8:30 pm. Deng was holding two pumps wrapped in long jackets, and Zheng Jin was carrying two key cards of the building. .
The police officers then entered the unit with a search warrant. Zheng Zihao was in a room at the time, while Li Weilong and Liao Ziwen climbed out of the window and walked to the canopy. They were later rescued and arrested.
Most glass bottles have pins
Police found some semi-finished petrol bombs in the unit's open kitchen, including a glass bottle with a finger thong and 21 glass bottles, most of which contained pins.
There are also materials for making petrol bombs in the unit, such as 750 ml of ethanol, about 4 liters of gasoline, 230 ml of lighter oil and 11 white towels.

Zheng Jin refused, but he went to the unit involved out of curiosity.
In Zheng Jin's mobile phone, the police also found several clips of making and throwing petrol bombs and Internet search records; they also found a number of photos related to petrol bombs, including sketches describing the composition of petrol bombs.

Seven clips of arson, lighting and throwing petrol bombs were also found in Li Weilong's mobile phone.

The call message shows that Li Weilong discussed with Deng in the "Telegram" communication group, and Li provided guidance to others on making petrol bombs.
Experts believe that the flammable liquids and materials in the unit are enough to make about 16 petrol bombs.
