The battle for Mariupol's massive Azovstal steel plant appears to be drawing to a close, after hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers remaining at the facility were evacuated.
But Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that negotiations with Russia and the evacuation mission "continue".
Seriously wounded soldiers evacuated from Azovstal could be exchanged for Russian prisoners of war, Ukraine's deputy prime minister said.
Finland and Sweden will submit their application to NATO on Wednesday, Sweden's prime minister said during a joint news conference with the Finnish president.
