Wrong teacher flies up at elementary school

Pullach – The police took a teacher away from the Pater Rupert Maier School in Pullach on Monday.

He had taught there as a fake teacher until the scam was discovered.

The 23-year-old had been in the third grade since April 1st.

Because he boasted about his degrees from renowned English universities, parents pricked their ears.

As the press office of the Archbishop's Ordinariate reports, he pretended at a parents' meeting that he had a Harvard degree.

As a teacher and colleague not noticed

Parents checked the information provided by the Munich resident on the Internet and found contradictions.

A 47-year-old from the district of Munich filed a complaint with the police station in the district of Munich.

Initial investigations confirmed the suspicion.

When the police visited the 23-year-old at school on Monday, he admitted the fraud.

The officers secured several relevant documents.

The fake teacher had also previously applied as a teacher in the Starnberg district.

He was hired as a temporary teacher

According to the police, the man from Munich had not yet appeared in the police force.

Upon request, the professorship reports that he was hired on April 1st as a substitute teacher until July 31st.

In total, he only taught eleven days.

He had not become conspicuous either because of his behavior towards students or because of the quality of his teaching.
