An alleged vaccination doctor has been in front of the Traunstein district court since February.

Now the verdict came.

He faces a long prison sentence.

Traunstein – He just wanted to do “something good”.

He justified his motive at the start of the trial in early February.

We are talking about an alleged vaccinator who administered corona vaccines in the Rosenheim, Karlsfeld and Dachau vaccination centers as well as in mobile vaccination teams.

The verdict in the case was pronounced today, Thursday, May 19.

The man faces a long prison sentence.

Wrong vaccinator convicted in Traunstein: judge considers accused to be "impostors"

The responsible judge at the district court in Traunstein, Jacqueline Aßbichler, did not fall for the accused, whom she described as a "conman".

She doesn't believe in his altruistic motives.

He acted "inhumanely, ruthlessly, irresponsibly and without empathy".

Based on chat histories, Aßbichler spoke of the fact that his life had been shaped by "deceiving and manipulating".

The accused studied theology.

He forged his doctoral degree and license to practice medicine.

He admitted that at the beginning of the trial.

But he wanted to help get the vaccination campaign going.

In his last word he had said: "My character values are the basis of my actions and deeds." He also stated that he had suffered greatly from not being able to become a priest after studying theology.

Wrong vaccinator sentenced: lawyer shoots against judge

The judge didn't believe that either.

"The court didn't fall for it," she also said of the defendant's attempts to draw attention to his sensitivity to detention with illnesses.

He came into the courtroom with a walker - and then "he jumped off that step like a young deer," Aßbichler continued.

The defendant's lawyer criticized the way in which the verdict was justified and also that chat histories that had nothing to do with the accused acts were introduced into the proceedings in order to portray their client in a particularly negative light.

"The court is obliged to determine the truth," Aßbichler emphasized in her justification that the accused was exactly what the public prosecutor's office believes him to be: an "impostor and fraudster".

Again and again she addressed the accused directly.

Once she said, "Thank God you didn't become a priest."

Long prison sentence for alleged vaccination doctor

A bill for 20,000 euros, which the accused had issued for his assignments, also shows that he was probably not only acting for the benefit of the public.

A real doctor of all people caught on to him.

He had him vaccinated.

He noticed that the man could not answer even the simplest medical questions, as a police officer who was responsible for investigations at the time reported in the taking of evidence.

The vaccination center then filed a complaint.

In the end, he was convicted of, among other things, commercial fraud, misuse of title, 305 counts of dangerous bodily harm and 1,144 counts of intentional bodily harm.

He now faces a sentence of three years and ten months in prison.

The public prosecutor had asked for five years in prison, the defense a suspended sentence.

The defendant's lawyer is considering whether to appeal the verdict.
