A 16-year-old Form 4 and a 13-year-old Form 2 female student from St. Paul's Secondary School fell to her death yesterday (18th) afternoon at Sun Shing Centre in Shau Kei Wan.
According to the news, the two are suspected of being in a relationship, and some people are troubled by emotional problems.
At about 9 am today (19th), the parents of the two deceased, accompanied by police officers, went to the Victoria Public Mortuary in the Western District to go through the formalities of body identification.
Both parents looked sad.
The incident happened at about 4 pm yesterday, and the police received a report from a resident that someone had fallen from the building at Sun Shing Centre, 8 San Shing Street, Shau Kei Wan.
Two female students in school uniforms were found lying on the platform of the building and were confirmed dead at the scene.
After investigation, the police believe that the two fell from the roof of the building.
Afterwards, several people believed to be teachers and social workers also went to the scene to learn about the incident.
The case is listed as a suicide agreement and will be handed over to the second team of the Eastern District Police District Serious Crime Squad for follow-up.
