Wu filed a petition with the High Court yesterday (18th), requesting the police to return some of the exhibits seized during the arrest, including information protected by Legal Professional Confidentiality (LLP) and exhibits not covered by the court warrant, and to order the police to return. The plaintiff, Wu Aiyi, was reported to the director of the service department.

The complaint alleges that on May 11, 2022, the police seized a large amount of information at Wu's unit on Robinson Road in the mid-levels.

Wu asked for an order from the court requiring the police to return information protected by legal professional privilege and exhibits that are not authorized by the police to seize under section 50(6) of the Police Force Ordinance.

In addition, Wu also asked the court to issue an order prohibiting the police from accessing and using the above-mentioned information without her consent, and asking the police to compensate the police for illegally detaining the information, but did not specify the amount.
