80,000 euros damage in a garage fire in Bad Wörishofen

Bad Wörishofen – Yesterday, Wednesday, two cars – including a vintage car – and a scooter were affected by a vehicle fire in a Bad Wörishofen garage.
The fire brigade prevented worse.
The property damage amounts to around 80,000 euros.

At around 9.45 a.m., a vintage car parked in the garage caught fire – this then spread to another car and a scooter.
The interior of the garage was also damaged.
It is unclear why the fire broke out.
A department of the Memminger Kripo has already started the investigation.
What was already certain yesterday: third-party debt can be ruled out, the police said.

The Bad Wörishof fire brigade, which was deployed with 25 firefighters, was able to prevent the fire from spreading to the residential building.
An ambulance and an ambulance were also on duty: when trying to extinguish the fire, the 63-year-old homeowner and a 31-year-old neighbor who had rushed to help inhaled smoke gases.
Both were therefore taken to a hospital for a check-up, but were released from there after a brief medical examination.
