At 9:48 am today (19th), a dog fell from a height in a 5-storey tenement building at 7a Chancellor Lane, Central.
The police and CPCA personnel arrived at the scene and found a dog lying on the ground. Unfortunately, it was apparently dead. CPCA personnel wrapped the dog's body in a garbage bag and checked it away.
A man and a woman rushed to the scene after the incident, and the woman cried bitterly.
According to the news at the scene, the dog that fell from the building was only a young male Tang dog, about half a meter in length. It was initially believed that it fell from the roof of the upper site, hit the canopy on the fifth floor and fell to the ground, and died of serious injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the dog falling from the building, and the case is classified as falling from a height.
