Lag B'Omer: a new and moving melody for Aharon Razel, this time in the atmosphere of the holy day in Meron, and under the terrible impression of last year's Meron disaster.

In general, Razel has a deep and spiritual connection to Meron: "I will not forget the first time I came to Meron!

Although I lived in Safed for almost a year, whenever I almost went to the holy town - for some reason it just didn't work out ... ".

At the end, Elijah the flutist took me in his old Citroen, and I was so excited and just could not enter Zion, I leaned against a tree in the forest near Zion, and composed this melody .. ".

There are two main sentences in the new song.

The first, is the verse that appears on the entrance to the Holy Zion: 'For you shall not forget from the mouth of his seed'.

As we know, the endings of the verse make up the word 'Yochai'!

This is the secret that R. Nachman revealed that thanks to the holy radiance and the inwardness of the Torah, we are guaranteed that the Torah will not be forgotten!

(Quoted in the preface of Likutei Moharan) The second sentence is taken from the piyyut 'Bar Yochai' and what an exciting sentence is quoted there: "Become a man is said for you"! Yochai.

"I admit that this melody is a little different from the rest of my melodies. I feel that it is taken from some such cosmic emotion, maybe even a little heavenly, and therefore, in the adaptation I tried to leave it as such. I wanted to express this feeling in Meron: "And 'time', Atra Kadisha Meron!"

"Olo", was the first song that Aharon composed in honor of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and was released two years ago.

Now, after the terrible disaster in Meron, Aaron decided to put out the tune "that you will not be forgotten" to lift the souls of the holy victims who ascended in the heavenly storm.

May their memory be blessed.
