When the alarmed patrol from the Munich Airport police station arrived, it quickly became clear why the woman's field of vision was restricted: the alcohol test showed a blood alcohol level of over 3.3.
Although the 55-year-old was not injured in the impact, she lost her driver's license and will have to answer for the danger to road traffic.
In Oberammergau, a man also drove a car with alcohol in his blood and ended up in a creek bed.
