Clashes between dozens of extremists and the police began tonight (Thursday) at the tomb complex in Meron, where the memorial service for the disaster that occurred last year is expected to begin at this time.
Following the clashes, some of the bereaved families are unable to attend.
Protesters throw glass bottles at police, and some shout "This is your end."
Earlier today, the extremists managed to break through the police checkpoint at the entrance to the tomb complex in Meron, and remained there in violation of police instructions.
Due to this, the police at the nearby checkpoints do not allow more worshipers to enter the area.
