A young woman was attacked with a knife on the night of Tuesday May 17 to Wednesday May 18, shortly after midnight, near the Campanile hotel in Chantilly in the Oise,

The alleged attacker, an English-speaking individual of African type, was arrested.
He had been hitchhiked a few moments earlier by the young woman and her companion, then had been taken to the hotel at his request.

It was on arrival at the Campanile hotel, where the hitchhiker had asked to be taken, that the situation totally degenerated.

Thanks to the intervention of her companion, the young woman was finally able to free herself from the grip of her attacker.
The latter would have been hit multiple times by several individuals who would have intervened.
Put to flight, the attacker was arrested 200 meters further by the gendarmes.
The soldiers twice used an electric pulse gun to subdue the respondent, who had been threatening.
