At about 5 a.m. today (20th), the police received a report from the security guard of the Wing Shan Building, Upper Village, Wong Tai Sin, saying that a female resident was sitting dangerously by the window of the unit.
The rescuers rushed to persuade her. Although the victim returned to a safe location, she was emotional, locked herself in the house, and blocked the door with debris, refusing to open the door to let the rescuers in.
For safety's sake, the police notified negotiating experts to lobby on the scene.
But until about 6:30 in the morning, the two sides were still in a stalemate.
It is understood that the female victim's surname is Ye (30 years old).
At about 1 pm the day before yesterday (18th), she also jumped for a while, and then refused to open the door. After an hour and a half of disturbance, her attitude softened. Finally, firefighters broke into the door and rescued her and sent her to the hospital.
