DWD: Official severe weather warning for large parts of NRW

The German Weather Service (DWD) issued an official severe weather warning for the western parts of North Rhine-Westphalia on Thursday afternoon.
According to the DWD, the storm first reached the west of the Münsterland, the Ruhr area and the Rhineland.
There could be hurricane-like gusts and heavy rain from the afternoon.
Food – People would also have to reckon with hailstones.
In advance information, the DWD had already pointed out the possible severe thunderstorms from the afternoon on Thursday morning, which could affect places throughout North Rhine-Westphalia.
