The office of the Syrian Grain Foundation in As-Suwayda Governorate announced the readiness of the farm center to receive the sacked wheat and the site of the Umm Al-Zaytoun mill to receive dogma wheat from farmers starting from the 22nd of this month.
The director of the office, Engineer Youssef Wehbe, told SANA reporter that the two designated sites for receiving the crop were equipped with the various required work requirements and the working cadre, while continuing to sell burlap bags to farmers wishing to market their crop within the Al-Anqoud Roundabout Center, provided that they pledge in a written letter to return it to the institution packed with the crop or to deliver it after the end of the season.
The head of the Suwayda Farmers Union, Samir Al-Baini, indicated that the wheat price that was approved at a rate of 2000 Syrian pounds per kilogram for those who deliver their wheat production to the Grain Office is good, especially in light of the decision that allows accepting the percentage of impurities in wheat 23 percent instead of less than 10 percent previously .
Al-Baini indicated that diesel fuel will be provided to the harvesters at the start of the harvest season, as well as cars and tractors that will transport the crop from farmers' lands to grain warehouses with the material.
