The president of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei, assured this Wednesday that he will not attend the Summit of the Americas to be held in June in Los Angeles, California.
"They are not going to invite me to the Summit, anyway I have already sent word that I am not going to go," said the president, who also argued that his decision is based on the fact that the host — the United States — criticized the appointment of Consuelo Porras as attorney general for another four years.
