Starnberg - The city of Starnberg has set up a parking lot for people with disabilities on Kirchenweg on the initiative of the Starnberg Inclusion Advisory Board.

Due to the restructuring of the rescue routes around the building of the district savings bank, new locations had to be found for the two existing disabled parking spaces on Ludwigstrasse.

It was important to the Inclusion Advisory Board that the two car parks should again be centrally located on the church square, so that shops or medical practices in the city center can be easily reached.

Disabled parking space relocated to Ludwigstrasse

According to a press release from the city of Starnberg, the other parking lot for people with disabilities is still on Ludwigstraße, it was only moved a few meters in the direction of the junction with the B2.

The City of Starnberg points out that parking in a disabled parking space is reserved exclusively for people with disabilities who have the appropriate parking permit ready.

In order to obtain a disabled parking permit, so-called markers are required.

The parking permit can then be applied for in the public order office of the city of Starnberg.
