At least one person was killed and others were injured as a result of Ukrainian shelling on a village in the Russian province of Kursk, which is adjacent to the Ukrainian border.
"Another enemy attack at dawn today on the village of Tetkino, and information indicates that at least one civilian was killed, in addition to the presence of many wounded," Kursk provincial governor Roman Starovit said in a statement carried by RIA Novosti.
He pointed out that efforts are underway to put out a fire that broke out after the bombing, which damaged a number of houses in the village, pointing out that there were unexploded shells.
The governor of Kursk announced yesterday evening that two border villages, including Titkino, were subjected to Ukrainian shelling, without causing any casualties.
