Füssen - The border police discovered and seized three kilos of cocaine in a 25-year-old Albanian in early May.
The alleged smuggler is in custody
At the beginning of May, investigators from the Pfronten border police checked a 25-year-old man with Albanian citizenship on the A7 near Füssen on the way to Austria.
This was announced by the press office of the Kempten police headquarters yesterday afternoon.
Because the investigators found inconsistencies during the on-site inspection, the officers took the man with his car to the Pfronten office.
There, after dismantling several vehicle parts, the police officers found a professionally installed smuggling hideout containing three kilograms of cocaine.
The cocaine was probably intended for southern Europe.
The 25-year-old was brought before the investigating judge at the Kempten district court at the request of the Kempten public prosecutor's office.
The judge followed the request, whereupon the man was taken to a Bavarian prison.
