The municipal council meeting dealt with the planning application for the Lenggries nursing home.

A complex with three building parts is planned, which will offer around 90 places.

Lenggries – The development plan process has not yet been completed because, among other things, a noise protection report is still being prepared.

However, the municipality has already submitted the planning application for the new nursing home on Karwendelstrasse.

The council considered the matter on Monday evening.

The committee voted against Martin Willibald (FWG) in favor of the application.

The new building replaces the aging district nursing home

As reported several times, the new building will replace the aging district nursing home, which will be demolished once the new building is complete.

In the future, the operator will no longer be the district, but Caritas.

She has just signed the rental contract with the municipality for the house, which offers around 90 beds and some short-term care places (we reported).

The municipality is financing the new building, which should be ready for occupancy by 2025, with an amount in the double-digit millions.

The largest building is almost 59 meters long

The fact that there is no production kitchen for cost reasons makes the building somewhat slimmer.

A complex with three connected buildings will be created.

The west building measures 50.88 by 18.78, while the east building is slightly longer at 58.68 meters.

In between, a nearly 8 meter wide connecting structure is being built.

Some deviations from the local design statute

Some deviations from the site design are necessary for the project.

The structure has more than two storeys, the roof pitch of the connecting building does not meet the specifications, and some of the windows are not subdivided with muntins.

"Due to the special purpose of use", the deviations seem justifiable, explained Ronny Bousseljot, head of the building authority, at the meeting.

Only a ventilation opening in the attic should not be round, but rather square.

44 parking spaces and charging facilities for e-cars

A total of 44 parking spaces will be created near Karwendelstrasse.

These include four with charging facilities for e-cars and two disabled parking spaces.

Birgitta Opitz (CSU) doubted whether the latter were really sufficient.

"There are no specifications here," said Mayor Stefan Klaffenbacher (FWG), but promised to deal with the subject again in the course of further planning.

Vice Mayor Franz Schöttl (CSU) also likes that.

"We should include that as a suggestion."

FWG local council quarrels with the appearance of the facade

Andreas Wohlmuth (FWG) was still struggling with the uniform appearance of the long buildings.

"Can you loosen up the facade a bit optically?

It looks so tract-like.” Claudia Specht from the architecture and engineering company Sweco didn't give him too much hope.

“Ultimately, the rooms behind are all the same and need the same amount of light.

You can't give one resident a small window and another a large one.” Of course, Klaffenbacher added that one could think twice about this in the course of the implementation planning.

"But it's always a question of costs and maintenance."

Planning permission only after the development plan procedure has been completed

As always, the planning application goes to the district building authority.

However, the building permit can only be issued there once the development plan procedure has also been completed.
